Smooth leather
Our smooth calfskin leather is full-grain, crafted from the outermost layer: the most premium part of the animal. The artisan's touch makes it beautiful and soft by gently hammering the surface: this process brings out the leather's natural characteristics, reviving and giving it body. This essential step requires time and the precision of experienced hands.
Strobel construction
Strobel construction makes for a particularly lightweight and flexible shoe that suits casual style.
The process begins with careful study of the leather; after finding the best part, the artisan cuts and shapes it around the last to form the upper. This is then delicately hammered to smooth down the seams and soften the parts that come into contact with the foot. Now the outsole can be attached, and the shoe is ready to be finished and polished.
Rubber sole
The so-called box sole is typically used for sneakers. It’s made out of a rubber blend and sewn to the upper at the sides. This shoe is designed to be lightweight, smooth, and flat.
Care Instructions
Leather gains beauty with age, so long as it is well taken care of. Here’s how:
- Use a brush to get rid of dust.
- Use the same brush to apply a cream. If the shoe is lightly colored, you’re better off using one that’s transparent or has a neutral color.
- Wait at least 20 minutes: when the polish has dried, buff it in using a dry cloth.
- Spray a deodorizing sanitizer spray on the inside of the shoe and wait a few hours before wearing.

Our packaging
We’ve carefully designed our packaging, selecting sustainable materials in order to reduce waste and make the packing process easier for our artisans.
The cardboard is fully recycled and recyclable, as is the twine and packing tissue. Depending on your purchase, you’ll also find one or more cotton bags for your convenience: reuse them for home and wardrobe storage, or for organizing your things when going away on trips.
